Training

Chory and Juankar integrated into the group

Málaga CF was back in training on this Bank Holiday morning, between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. Chory Castro and Juankar Pérez were both included in the first session of the week.

The team alternated between physical exercise and ball work, with 22 players and goalkeepers, Ochoa and Kameni at the disposition of Javi Gracia.  Chory Castro and Juankar trained at a good pace throughout the session, whilst Albentosa remained in the gym to undergo therapeutic treatment.  The Valencian player has an inflammation of the right knee, following the blow he sustained in the match at Anoeta.  He’ll wait and see how the injury develops ahead of the matches this week against Valencia and Deportivo.

Reserve team players, Aarón and Ontiveros, along with Pablo Fornals, who are regular fixtures in first team training sessions, were absent for different reasons today.  The goalkeeper is taking part in this afternoon’s clash in San Ignacio between El Palo and Atlético Malagueño; and the Marbella-born winger has been called-up to Spain’s under-19s, who are playing an international against Serbia on Wednesday.

Tomorrow, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., Málaga Club de Fútbol will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.
