Málaga CF’s Ignacio Camacho held a press conference following the ‘Futura afición’ (Future fans) event at the Hermanos Maristas school: “I keep accumulating minutes, which is important.”
Málaga-Barcelona
“We need to view it as just another match. We’ve played major games against the top teams, this season and last, and we need to play a complete match in order to earn points. The team has worked very well this week so we’re going to make things difficult for the rival.”
Maximum attention
“There is a great deal to gain and very little to lose. The team is giving a good impression and must focus on a hard-working match for 90 minutes. If we dawdle on the pitch, it could cost us dearly against such quality players.”
Fine tuning
“I keep accumulating minutes, which I think is important. I’ll get back to 100 per cent by playing more games, but I can hold 90 minutes well, I’m confident and happy. The results, and the team, help me to be optimistic.”
Points against Barça
“They are three points of the same value as last week in Sevilla or the week before in Las Palmas. We don’t need to look any further ahead, it’s just another match and the important thing is to continue the same dynamic and not be frightened because it’s Barça.”
