Camacho, absent with a sprain and now in doubt for Valencia

For another day, Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first team trained this morning in the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.

In the session today, Friday 16th December, the penultimate of the week, there were few big stories; although the most notable was the absence of Ignacio Camacho, who wasn’t able to be out on the pitch as he’s suffering from sprained right ankle.  After being assessed, it’s something that is putting his availability to play against Valencia in doubt.

For their part, Maresca and Baptista were also away as they continue the recovery of their respective injuries.

Without any additional incorporations to the group, the Malaguista squad did the usual physical and tactical exercises with and without the ball.  The goalies once again worked with Xabi Mancisidor..

Tomorrow, Saturday, the first team, will have a closed, morning session at La Rosaleda, ahead of the list of called-up players being announced which will decide who makes the trip on Sunday to take on Valencia at Mestalla.
