“We were determined to keep the three points at La Rosaleda in front of our fans. We tried our best, but we weren’t lucky enough to get a second goal. The entire team made a massive effort, but we need to work on correcting our mistakes. We remain undefeated at La Rosaleda which is positive. I’m happy with my second goal with Málaga and for helping the team,” he stated.
The Mallorca-born player is pleased with tonight’s point. “We went all out for the game, although they also caused us some trouble on the counter-attack. The team did pretty well, we competed and need to continue this work dynamic,” he added.
In regard to his second goal in a row, “the goal is about a little bit of luck, and I’m happy to have scored another. In terms of their goal, we didn’t clear the ball well enough. It annoyed us as we’d almost got to half-time,” he said.
