The Malaguista player analysed the defeat against CD Tenerife (0-1) and highlighted the Blue and White fans’ return to the stadium: “Hopefully many more will be able to come back to the stadium soon”.
Before the pre-season comes to an end for the Malaguista squad, at such a special place as La Rosaleda, Brandon said: “We wanted to get a good result in front of our fans, who haven’t been able to come for so long, but it wasn’t to be. In the end it’s about accumulating minutes in the legs and trying to gain sensations”.
In regard to his place in the starting line-up, the forward showed his willingness to help the team: “I’ll try to perform as well as possible wherever the coach wants me”.
Brandon takes the positives from the match: “The important thing is Monday’s game. We wanted to play well and see how we got on at La Rosaleda. There are lots of things to improve on, but the team did well, we improved a great deal towards the end. We need to maintain the same dynamic of the last 30 minutes, pile the pressure on, be intense and approach the area”.
Finally, the forward discussed the return of Malaguista fans to La Rosaleda. “Even though there weren’t many there, it was so good to hear them, feel the atmosphere and see the encouragement they’ll give us this season. They have been very patient, and for that we’re very grateful. Hopefully many more will be able to come back to the stadium soon”.
