Boulahroud and Cifuentes re-join the group

The team returned to training this Monday morning at La Rosaleda stadium’s annexe. The positive news of the day was Cifuentes’ gradual reincorporation to the group and the return of Boulahroud at full pace.

The first session of the week, with the company of light showers at times, saw Muñiz divide his team into two work groups. One group focused on a lighter session for the starting players in Pamplona, with the integration of Ontiveros and the absence of Juanpi, who with a strain to both calf muscles, remained in the gym. Koné, physically fit.

Reserve team midfielders Keidi Bare and Iván Jaime underwent continuous running and work in the gym, the same as the first team players who faced CA Osasuna last Saturday.

Amongst the substitutes and non-called-up players, who underwent a normal training session, was the presence of Cifuentes and Boulahroud, now physically fit. Homegrown players Álex Robles and Antoñín participated in group training.

As well as the aforementioned Juanpi, also undergoing preventive work in the gym were Diego González (strain to hamstring in right leg), Harper (sprain to deltoid ligament in right ankle) and Mula, suffering with long-term injury. Juankar is undergoing an arthroscopy today on his right knee.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, Málaga CF has a day off. On Wednesday 7th at 10:00, the second session of the week will take place at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
