Blue and White Values are back!

The initiative by the MCF Foundation and Fundación “la Caixa” adapts to the new normal with a remote format for this seventh edition.

Blue and White Values are back. Due to the current health measures, the event was held remotely, but with the same magic as always. The MCF Foundation and Fundación “la Caixa” were very clear that the COVID-19 pandemic was not going to stop them, and they succeeded.

During these sessions, Málaga CF players will connect with children all over the province to show them Blue and White Values (healthy habits, sportsmanship, camaraderie, friendship, etc ...).

The inaugural event took place on Thursday, featuring schools in six areas of the Axarquía, namely the municipalities of Canillas de Albaida, Árchez, Corumbela, Sayalonga, Sedella and Salares. David Lombán from MCF, Clo from Málaga CF Femenino and Tamara and José Carlos Salas from Málaga Genuine were the teachers at the start of this 2020/21 academic year.

As usual, the presentation featured the support of Fundación “la Caixa” represented by Ana Belén Morales, business director of CaixaBank; Yolanda Solero from Acción Social CaixaBank; and Juan Carlos Barroso from Regional Management of the “la Caixa” Banking Foundation. In addition, on behalf of the Club, ‘in attendance’ were Malaguista judicial administrator, José María Muñoz; Protocol and Institutional Relations adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar; sports director, Manolo Gaspar; MCF coach, Sergio Pellicer; MCFF coach, Nati Gutiérrez; coordinator of the MCF Foundation, Lucas Rodríguez; member of the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernández Reyes, ‘Basti’; heads of Málaga CF’s Business and Institutional Relations departments, Carlos Arias and Ana Vera; and Málaga CF Femenino coordinator, Raúl Iznata.

Together with the teachers and students of the six schools, they all enjoyed the start of this new, and very different, edition of Blue and White Values.
