The Blue and White midfielder was shown a direct red card during #PonferradinaMálaga which carries a one-match ban, meaning he’ll miss out on #MálagaLeganés on Saturday. Benkhemassa is the first player on the team to be suspended this 20/21 campaign. Currently on three yellow cards are Juande, Matos, Escassi and Yanis.
In addition, coach Sergio Pellicer, also sent off from El Toralín last weekend, has been given a two-match ban, as per article 117 of the federative committee.
