The man from El Palo joins the entity to head up various projects via the Málaga CF Foundation’s Social Area, and was accompanied by Blue and Whites’ director general, Vicente Casado on his emotional return to the Club. Basti received a very warm welcome from everyone at La Rosaleda, particularly from Club advisers; Antonio Benítez and Abdallah Ben Barek, two of ‘Super Basti’s’ mentors as he began his journey to becoming Málaga CF’s highest ever goal-scorer.
