MCF’s Cup rival has been announced, Barakaldo of the 2ª Federación. The clash will be held at Estadio de Lasesarre between 31st October, 1st or 2nd November (date and time to be determined).
Málaga CF’s general manager, Kike Pérez, analysed the cup clash to the Club's media.
An exciting tournament

A rival on good form
“It will certainly be a great, hard-fought match, which is what the Copa del Rey typically is all about and what engages the fans. Barakaldo were promoted last year with impressive stats. This year they’re second and are doing really well. It’ll no doubt be a beautiful match between two centenary clubs.”
Long journey
“Perhaps a not so positive factor is the Cup breaks up the weekly work schedule, but it’s the same for everyone. We’re off to Baracaldo and can’t wait to go. I’m sure it’ll be a great game.”
