Training
Ball work in this Tuesday morning session

The Malaguistas continue training in the city of Valls (Holland). Weligton returns to group training in the first session of the day.

The Blue and Whites’ players were in training for two hours in the first of two sessions today.  Weligton, who sustained a bruise to the quadriceps in his left leg in the match against KAS Eupen, returned to work with his teammates.  Despite wearing a bandage on his leg, the central defender completed the session without any problems.

Sandro, who also sustained a bruise to the quadriceps in his right leg in the match against FC Cologne, continued his recovery separately from the group.

Following the usual warm-up workout, the Malaguistas were divided into groups of four to undergo specific exercises with the ball.  The team was later divided into two groups of 12; one half focusing on possession exercises on a reduced-sized pitch with smaller goalposts, whilst the other worked on finishing exercises with large goalposts and keepers.  The two groups then alternated activities until the end of the session.

This afternoon from 18:00, Málaga CF’s first team will return to training on the pitch in Vaals.
