Málaga CF and Coremsa - together for the education of the MCF Academy

The business training group gives the Blue and Whites’ entity five full scholarships for academy players.

Málaga CF, via its Foundation, joins together with Coremsa for the training of footballers from the MCF Academy.  Coremsa, via its Cesur centre, offers a wide variety of official training courses for the education of future professionals all over Spain.

Under this agreement, Málaga CF will receive five full scholarships valued at €30,000, for the players within the youth ranks to receive additional training to enrich their careers.

Present at the signing of the agreement were Club advisers, Abdallah Ben Barek and Antonio Benítez; member of the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernández Reyes, ‘Basti’; president of the Coremsa Group, Manuel Martín; and director general of Cesur, Carlos Martín.

Statements to MCFTV

Manuel Martín, president of Coremsa: “For us this agreement is very important.  Coremsa is a 100% Malaga company, and should undoubtedly be involved with the Club.”

Antonio Benítez: “Studying is very important, the players should never stop their education.  I understand that parents hope their children become professional footballers, but if they can continue to study at the same time, they will be far better people and players.”
