Back to work with a light session for the Copa players
Málaga CF have trained in a morning session at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium, after having the day off yesterday, Wednesday.
The team was divided-up in the following way: wearing white bibs and doing light physical exercises with auxiliary coach, Enrique Ruiz, were six players who participated in the Copa match against Getafe - namely, Gámez, Apoño, Joaquín, Mathijsen, Eliseu and Juanmi. Buonanotte separately carried out specialist stretching tasks. Van Nistelrooy and Demichelis remained in the gym, and they were joined by Camacho, who has a knock to the right ankle, although it will not stop him being available for the Valencia match.
The only one who played in the Copa match and who trained at a normal level was Willy Caballero who, with Rubén and the reserve Pol, worked under the orders of Xabi Mancisidor. In the green bibs were Weligton, Cazorla, Seba, Sánchez, Rondón, Recio and Rosario, but the Portuguese defender was forced to retire early for a muscular pain in his right calf. Training without bibs were Isco, Edinho, Toulalan, Kris, Duda, Portillo and Monreal.
Baptista and Maresca continue with their respective recovery treatments. The Brazilian in Marbella and the Italian alternating between treatments and light jogging with the physical readaptation coach, Hugo Camarero.
Tomorrow, Friday, at 10.30, Málaga will train in the Ciudad de Málaga.
