Málaga Club de Fútbol got back to work this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium for the first training session of the week - a week that will be all about preparing for Saturday's BBVA League match against Real Madrid.
A return to training after yesterday’s day off. The team completed a double session in which all the squad did the warm-ups, before those who played in Sunday’s match carried out recuperation exercises, while the rest did ball tasks, and Willy Rubén and Pol completed training with Xabi Mancisidor. Julio Baptista wasn’t there with them as he was performing some specialist tasks in the gym alongside Mathijsen, who’s suffering from an injury to one of his right toes since last week. On the pitch, Duda and Apoño jogged did some more specific skills training with coach, Enrique Ruiz. Also there at the session was Málaga CF’s Sporting Director, Antonio Fernández. Seba Fernández, with the Club’s permission, was this morning’s only absentee.
Tomorrow the team return to train at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium at 10.30 a.m.
