The Competition Committee sanctions Willy with one match

The RFEF has agreed to suspend the Málaga Club de Fútbol goalkeeper, Willy Caballero, for one match after he was expelled from the last match against Levante.

In this way, the Royal Federation of Spanish Football’s (RFEF) Competition Committee dismisses the request by the Blue and Whites’ board who sought to overturn the red card given to Willy in minute 30 of the Levante match last Sunday (16th October).

The decision, which may be brought before the Appeals Committee, will, for the moment, prevent Willy Caballero playing in the forthcoming BBVA League match against Real Madrid at La Rosaleda on Saturday 22nd October at 8 p.m.
