Back from La Coruña and in training at La Rosaleda

The Malaguistas landed around 13:00 at Málaga-Costa del Sol airport and headed directly to La Rosaleda to resume training.

The Blue and Whites were back in training this Saturday morning, having returned from La Coruña after yesterday’s match against RC Deportivo on LaLiga Santander matchday 31. No sooner had the lads landed in Málaga, they headed to La Rosaleda stadium to return to training.

A session in which the starting players from the match against Deportivo remained in the gym, whilst the rest of the squad trained on the pitch at La Rosaleda, The players focused on a warm-up workout followed by finishing work.

Chory Castro was not in training due to an injury to the femoral biceps of his right leg. On Monday he’ll undergo diagnostic tests to determine the extent of the injury. Kuzmanovic, Juanpi, Recio, Peñaranda and Lestienne, who are still convalescing, also trained in the gym today.

Juvenil Liga Nacional goalkeeper, Daniel Strindholm, trained with the first team, under the orders of José González, along with Andrés Prieto.  

The team has a day off tomorrow, Sunday.

Pitch renovation at La Rosaleda Stadium

Following last night’s game between Castellón-Cornellà, the 19/20 football season has come to an end at La Rosaleda. Renovation works on the Blue and White pitch kicked off on Monday.

New and historic rivals in LaLiga SmartBank
