Atlético Málaga face Sporting Huelva in Andalucían Cup final

The women’s team linked to Málaga CF, Atlético Málaga, which competes in group four in the Second Division, is up against Sporting Club de Huelva tomorrow at 7 p.m. in Paradas (Sevilla), in the final of the 1st women’s Andalucían Cup.

Atlético Málaga arrived at the final having eliminated CD Atlético Salobreña (0-5), AD Nervión (0-3) and Atlético Monachil (1-5) in previous matches.  The girls are in fourth position in the table, and remain undefeated in five consecutive League games.  The most recent was last weekend against At. Monachil (0-2).
 
Sporting Club is an experienced, very competitive side, currently in the First Division and typically ranking amongst the top eight teams.  On their journey to the final of the Andalucían Cup, they defeated CD Hispalis (0-2), Real Betis Balompié – current leaders of At. Málaga’s group - (0-3) and AD La Rambla (0-7).  In their most recent First Division match, eighth-placed Sporting Club defeated last-placed CD San Gabriel (2-0).
