The Argentinean-born defender explains: “Throughout the match we were determined to get a good result, but the rival also put up a good fight.  We scored the first goal, but they managed to equalise, and following that we couldn’t find the space upfront in order to score the winning goal.  We had another two clear shots at goal but luck wasn’t on our side.  We deserved a better result.”
 
Angeleri is focused on the next game: “It’s important now to think about our next match.  Every game from here on in is going to be like this, so we need to keep fighting and ensure we’re prepared.  I think the team showed good character today and maintained a strong defence.  We put on a better performance in our quest for goals than we did in the last game, so we need to carry on like this and achieve better results.”
 
Sergio Sánchez analyses the match against Real Valladolid: “We could have sealed the match in the first half.  We made some changes to our attacking strategy in the second half, whereas the rival also focused upfront and had a number of chances to take the game.  We’re a little bit disappointed with the situation having not achieved a home win today, however we need to stay strong.”
 
Sánchez adds: “The entire team needs to get a win, as that’s what we train hard for all week.  Whether we play well and lose, or play badly and win isn’t important.  We need to win, whatever happens.  Although we’re angry we didn’t get the right result, we’re a strong squad and need to move on from this and concentrate on victory in our next match.”
