Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Marcos Angeleri and Luis Alberto appeared in the mixed zone at La Rosaleda to evaluate today’s win against Córdoba Club de Fútbol: “This is the reward for our hard work and helps us to believe in ourselves.”

“It was fundamental for us to secure a home win and vindicate the bitter taste from last weekend. We did it thanks to a lot of hard work, therefore this is our reward, which helps us to believe in ourselves. We know we need to continue along this line in order to keep moving forwards and give our all in every match. This is what we did today and it worked out well. Defensively we were strong, managed the ball well and created scoring opportunities. We showed another side to us, the side we’ve seen for the majority of the season, so we’re very pleased with our performance.”
“We’re moving into a phase now where we’ll see teams all desperate for points, so every match will be tight and hard-fought. There are no easy rivals and every game will be tough. Every team has a desire to win, which we’re prepared for, and it certainly isn’t going to be straightforward. We’ll fight till the end and stay strong in order to remain in this position.”
