An open training session opens 2012 with 2,500 fans at La Rosaleda

Málaga CF trained this Sunday, 1st January, at La Rosaleda stadium. Approximately 2,500 fans filled the ‘Preferencia’ stand at the Martiricos campus at the open training session.

Yet again, technical ball work was the dominant feature for Pellegrini’s team.  Between 11.30 a.m and 12.50 p.m, the 27 squad members - including the reserve Pol and the unassigned player, Malagueño – carried out group rounds, passing and shooting exercises as well as matches on reduced pitches with three teams of eight.  The injured players Baptista, Joaquín and Rosario remain absent.
 
Tomorrow, Monday, at 11.30 am, the team will train in a closed session at La Rosaleda.  The team will then meet at Hotel Vincci Posada del Patio ahead of leaving for the Spanish capital a day before the cup clash against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabéu (10 pm).
