La Academia’s 7-a-side teams now know their rivals for the final stage of the Andalucían Championships in the ‘Alevín’ and Benjamín’ categories. Both first leg games will take place this coming weekend, with the return legs scheduled for 24th May.
José Márquez’s ‘Alevín’ boys will come up against Betis Iliturgitano, the second-placed Jaén-based side, in the knockout stage. Should they qualify to the quarter-finals, they will play the winner of the clash between Ciudad de Granada and UD Almería.
The ‘Benjamínes’ headed up by veteran, Padilla will face second-placed Granada-based team, Ciudad de Granada, and if they reach the quarter-finals, will play the winner of the UD Pavía - CD Tiro Pichón match.
Following the knockout round and quarter-finals, the Final Four will take place, however the date and location has not as yet been confirmed.
