“I believe we’ve achieved a highly valuable point. We came here with the enthusiasm of a team kicking off 2019 fully charged and with good sensations following the Barça game. However, today we competed against a rival that should be at the top, with the players they have and how they play, so claiming a point from here is very important for us”.

“We had an approach that they countered very well. They played effectively with their midfielder, which was something we wanted to avoid to prevent them from turning, but in the end they managed to with their central defenders. We were able to correct things in time and overcome that early goal. We played our gameplay and I think we’ve scored a highly positive, well-deserved point”.
Proud
“I told my teammates I was extremely proud of this point. We usually say that the league gives us a starting point that we have to at least maintain. We weren’t expecting to claim any points against this team, particularly at their home ground, as they are a great rival that plays well in all lines. However, we did a great job until the end and I think the result is very fair”.
Staying up
“We are a team that should be there. We had a bit of a difficult start to the season, but without doubt we are a team that deserves to be in the First Division”.
