Atlético Malagueño
The Blue and Whites’ reserve team defeated Alhaurín de la Torre CF in the 9th Third Division Group IX match, by 7-0. The Malaguistas dominated play from start to finish, in Sunday’s match at the Málaga Football Federation ground. Kuki Zalazar, in minute 13, and David Muñoz, in 20’ and 40’, scored the three local goals before half-time (3-0).
The second half kicked off in the same way as the first. Malagueño controlled possession, and approached the rival area time and again. Mula from the penalty spot in minute 50, David Muñoz with another double, 58’ and 90’, and Luis Muñoz in minute 82, also a penalty, sealed the definitive 7-0 victory. The Malaguistas now have 21 points (third place), and remain undefeated in the League.
Málaga CF femenino
Málaga CF defeated Santa Teresa CD ‘B’ at the José Gallardo on Sunday, in the 7th Group IV match in the Women’s Second Division (6-0). Iznata’s girls got on the scoreboard in minute 11 with a goal by Ruth, from a corner (1-0), with the other goals scored in the second half. The Malaguistas secured their win with two goals from Encarni, two from Mará Ruiz and another from Ruth.
With this big win against Santa Teresa’s reserve team, Málaga now have 17 points, remaining undefeated in 3rd place in the table.
Juvenil A
Sergio Pellicer’s players defeated Real Club Recreativo de Huelva by 4-0, in the 9th Group IV División de Honor Juvenil match, held at the Málaga Federation ground on Sunday. Escardó, Bonilla, Hicham and Jony scored the goals (4-0), earning Málaga CF three points to keep them in second place in the table (21 points).
The Juvenil A team from MCF’s Academy well welcome FC Nitra on Wednesday at 18:00, in the return leg of the UEFA Youth League knockout tie. In the first leg, the Malaguistas won by two goals to three, and hope to seal their pass to the next round in front of their fans.
