An epic win for the reserve team at the Federación Malagueña against Linares Deportivo. The visitors were 0-2 up on the scoreboard in the first half thanks to a double from Pekes. Just before half-time, Harper narrowed the gap with a psychologically key goal. In the second half, Ruano brought on two players who revolutionised the attack in the final stage of play. Santi, following an action from Hicham, levelled up the game. Then the Moroccan winger, in minute 93, scored the 3-2 final result, and a comeback that keeps Malagueño at the top of the table.
Antonio Contreras’ girls secured a massive away victory against Puerto de la Torre. In the first half, Encarni, Sheila and Adriana (2) scored for the Blue and Whites. In the second half, Kerlly, Paula (2), Karina and María Ruiz increased the lead to reach a superb 0-9 win. This is the third consecutive victory for the girls – 25 goals scored in these three games – maintaining Málaga in second place in the table after six matches, two points behind leaders, Sporting de Huelva B.
