The Blue and Whites’ players trained on the pitch at La Rosaleda stadium for around 30 minutes, which saw the return of goalkeeper Munir to Málaga following his two international commitments. The Moroccan keeper trained on the pitch alongside Kiezsek, Andrés Prieto and Kellyan under the instruction of goalkeeping coach Toni Mengual.
Shortly after, the team moved on to the pitch to start work under the orders of Muñiz, although after the warm-up and various activation exercises, the players were forced to take shelter from the downpour and moved to the gym.
Cifu and Mula continued with their recoveries. Both exercised in the gym this morning and received therapeutic treatment. Homegrown players Harper, Hicham, Iván Rodríguez, Keidi and the aforementioned Kellyan were in training with the first team under Muñiz’s orders today.
The team will leave for Elche at 15:30 this afternoon, ahead of Friday’s game.
