This Friday, the Blue and Whites will be visiting Elche on LaLiga 1|2|3 matchday 10, and within the Malaguista ranks we find four footballers who know the rival club perfectly; Adrián, Lombán, Héctor and injured Cifuentes, the only one of the four not included in Muñiz’s line-up for #ElcheMálaga.
Lombán and Adrián shared a dressing room in the 2014/15 season within an Elche CF who, despite ending in 13th place in the standings, was sanctioned with administrative relegation. The central defender, who was serving his second season at the Martínez Valero, achieved his best goal-scoring records that year, netting five goals.
A year later, in 2015/16, Cifu and Héctor coincided. The winger already belonged to Elche the season before but didn’t share time with Lombán and Adrián as he was loaned out to Girona FC. He only played half a season with Elche together with Héctor, as during the winter transfer window Málaga CF took on his services. For his part, the striker lived his first experience as a professional outside Atlético de Madrid at 20 years of age.
