A Herrero: “We’re angry, we hate losing at home”

The Malaguista goalkeeper held a press conference after the defeat against CD Alcoyano at La Rosaleda. “We have to keep our feet on the ground, have emotional stability, not go crazy when we are good or break down when we are bad,” he stated.

A bad day

“It wasn’t our day. It seemed that with the opportunities we had we could have won. We tried, we have not had our day and we have to continue working hard to keep moving forward.”

Upset, but with our feet on the ground

We’re angry, we hate losing, especially at home. We have to keep our feet on the ground, have emotional stability, not go crazy when we are good or break down when we are bad. We’ve had a tough week because of Haitam, we wanted to dedicate the victory to him and we couldn't.”

Work hard and improve

“This happens in matches. We had some good moments and the bad ones weren’t too bad. There were disconnections, you want to do your job as best as possible, and you are not paying attention to a specific play. We must see the failures and we’ll work hard to ensure that they do not happen again.”

Follow our path

“I'm aware of the standings and how we’re doing, but we don't have to go crazy. The work is being done, we are laying solid foundations for the team to win every weekend. We have to be responsible for what we want, where we are and really go for it.”
