Sandro sustains a hamstring injury

Medical tests undertaken on the Malaguista after sustaining the injury in the match against Real Sociedad, confirmed a grade II injury to the hamstring in his right leg.

The Málaga CF player was injured in the last LaLiga match against Real Sociedad, last Monday at La Rosaleda stadium. Sandro was substituted after 21 minutes of play by Peñaranda, after he felt some discomfort to the hamstring.

Málaga CF’s highest goal-scorer this season, with nine goals, underwent an MRI on Wednesday at Clínicas Rincón-La Rosaleda, which determined the grade II injury to the hamstring in his right leg.

The Club wishes Sandro a speedy recovery, so he can return to the pitch as soon as possible.
