The Malaguista midfielder had a few words for MCFTV following the away win against Villarreal B. “Three golden points and we’re going to make them even better by trying to win at home next week,” he stated.
Málaga CF’s Ramón spoke to MCFTV after the 1-2 victory against Villarreal B at Estadio de la Cerámica.
“It was a victory away from home, at this stadium, and against a great team,” he initially said. “Three golden points and we’re going to make them even better by trying to win at home next week,” he continued.
Asked about his game and that of the rest of his teammates, he commented: “Both individually and collectively, the team performed well. In the end we are from Málaga and here you always suffer. They know very well how to win the three points, yet we’re in a dynamic in which we’re progressing pretty well.”
“We’re in a situation with a great deal of pressure, we’ve known how to suffer and have our moments,” he stated. “It’s been incredibly difficult because the rival plays well, and that makes the three points more positive,” he said.
Ramón is clear that the objective is possible: “We are 200% certain we can do it, and we’ll fight to the death until this is over. Inside the dressing room we are convinced we’ll achieve our goal.”
Lastly, he praised the support of the Malaguistas who had travelled to Vila-real: “These fans are incredible. As soon as you arrive on the pitch you get goosebumps, they were cheering us on and helping to get the best out of us. The only thing we can do is try to reward them by giving our all.”
