Marcus Thomas Rowley Poveda, who has an Irish father and Spanish mother, has been selected by the under-16s’ Ireland coach to take part in the prestigious Victory Shield. In this historic competition, Marcus will face the national sides of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
The young midfielder, who is currently in Ireland, has been with the Blue and Whites since 2011, and is part of the ‘Cadete A’ team competing in the ‘1st División Andaluza’.
