Amrabat to leave Málaga CF

Nordin Amrabat is leaving Málaga CF to join English Premier side, Watford Football Club, after meeting the release clause in the Moroccan forward’s contract.

The footballer was born in Naarden (Holland) and arrived at Málaga two years ago, in the second round of the 2013/14 season on loan from Turkish side, Galatasaray.

Amrabat debuted in an official BBVA League game between Málaga-Sevilla (3-2) at La Rosaleda, on 1st February 2014.  He took part in 15 matches (two goals and five assists) in the 2013/14 season.

Last season, 2014/15, Amrabat took part in a total of 35 matches: 31 in LaLiga (six goals, four assists) and four in the Copa del Rey.  This season, and at this time owned by the Club, the Moroccan international has played 13 League games and one Cup match.
