The process got underway this afternoon to remove the current turf, which should be completed on Thursday morning. At that time, the next phase will begin to enrich the soil so it is in the best conditions to receive the new turf.
The planting of the new sods is scheduled to take place this coming weekend, to prepare for the new lawn at La Rosaleda stadium. Finally, the sprinklers will be replaced, along with the goal areas, painting of lines and everything else necessary so that the pitch is ready to play football.
This process is being accelerated as double the amount of personnel and machinery is being utilised over the next few days at La Rosaleda, in order for works to be finished before the match against Villarreal CF on Wednesday 23rd at 10 p.m.
