Málaga CF Femenino’s reserve team beat AD Pablo Picasso by 2-3 in the semi-final return leg of the Copa Federación. With this result, the Blue and Whites have earned their place in the final of the competition. The Malaguistas equalised after going 1-0 down thanks to a rival goal by Mercedes in minute 12. Following various minutes of back and forth, Vargas seized the ball, developed an individual action and from outside the area launched an unstoppable ball at the target to level up the scoreboard (1-1, minute 32). The result remained the same at the half-time whistle.
Following the break, the Blue and Whites took charge and in minute 54, Ángela put her team in the lead. Málaga made a triple substitution, but the local side made things all square again with a goal from Saray in the 67th minute. Barely five minutes later, Salguero – who had just stepped on to the field of play – netted the ball following a corner kick to put her team back on top. The match ended in a 2-3 win for the Malaguista reserve team, and a place in the Copa Federación final.
