Winning debut for Ornella in the U-16 UEFA Development Tournament

Spain’s Under-16s defeated the United States by 1-2 in the first match of the tournament.

The UEFA U-16 Women’s Development Tournament held in Loughborough (England) got off to a positive start today for the national team.

The Blue and White reserve team player Ornella María Vignola was called-up for this prestigious tournament, which ended in a 1-2 win for Spain’s Under-16s against the United States.

The Málaga CF Femenino player, who debuted with the women’s first team on 17^th November against UD Tacuense, is a regular fixture in the line-ups of the youth ranks of the Spain women’s national team.

The UEFA tournament is taking place until 24^th February, with the players returning home on 25^th February.
