Willy Caballero: “Winning at home is an extra bonus”
Blue and Whites’ goalkeeper Willy Caballero spoke to the media today, Wednesday, in the press room in the Málaga Stadium.
Statements from Willy:
(Pain during the last match) “Now I feel much better, I was in a lot of pain, now I’m hoping to return to normal training. The most important thing is that I’m better, and I hope to have a normal week. I was injured in a strange place, it hurts when I get hit, but I got through it and the team won, it would have hurt twice as much if we’d have lost”.
(Key to Victory) “Winning at home gives you an extra bonus, we’re happy, and let’s hope that we don’t repeat our losing streak, and we keep winning, playing well and getting results. Sometimes it’s preferable to let goals in and still win, we do need to try and stop this, the opposition scoring goals, and keep working at it. We need to return to being the team that doesn’t let goals in”.
(Betis) “We’ve had three consecutive defeats and it’s difficult to stop a losing streak. I think Betis are playing very good football and we need to be careful if we’re going to win this match”.
(Apoño) “In the games where he’s been out of the team, we’ve showed him a lot of support”.
