“We were full of enthusiasm, eager to do well for ourselves and the fans, but it wasn’t the case. We had a very good first half, one of the best this year. We were the superior side, had the match under control, but their goal did us some damage and everything became an uphill struggle and we conceded a second. Today we’re going home angry for losing an important game, in which we were determined to win. As from tomorrow it’s back to work, we must roll our sleeves up and remember there are 13 games left and we’re going to fight”.
Three points escape because of small detail
“It’s clear that if we’d have scored the second goal, the team would have been calmer. If we analyse their goal, it arose from a very remote action and a mistake. Details that can lose you a match. But apart from that, we had the match very much under control. In the end, again another small detail condemned us to lose three points that we greatly deserved”.
Fight until the end
“We have to keep going. We’ll fight until the end and whoever wants to be with us will be. We’re going to give our all and as from tomorrow train to the maximum as we’ve been doing all season. I am convinced, as is the entire dressing room, that we’ll be fighting until the end and we’ll achieve our goal”.
