Axel Werner and Rajko Brezancic are now another two Malaguistas. Friends and former teammates from their time together at SD Huesca, they were jointly presented in the Juan Cortés press room at La Rosaleda. And like all good partners, the Serbian winger relied on the Argentine goalkeeper to answer questions from the media. They were a team.

Following the press conference, Brezancic and Werner headed for the dressing rooms where the players were amazed by the anamorphic shield. They donned the Blue and White shirt and stepped on to the pitch at La Rosaleda, something they’d never done before. They were impressed. “This is a first-class ground” said Brezancic. They showed off their skills with the ball and posed for photos for the assembled media.

During their presentation, the three Club advisers were present, Abdullah Ben Barek, Antonio Benítez and Francisco Martín Aguilar, along with sports director, José Luis Pérez Caminero, his second in command, Juan Rodríguez, and members of the sports management headed up by Manolo Gaspar.
