“Both the Club and the president of the women’s team have bet on us, and we’re all thrilled. We’ve changed our training location, we’re now in Cártama and the facilities are better. We’re all delighted.
“The objective is to finish top of the league, which is very tough, and then focus on the promotion play-offs to take the team to where it belongs, First Division”.
María Ruiz
“The players who have come here have vast experience, and contribute a lot to the team. The arrival of Adriana and another teammate is a plus. We’re watching and learning from them”.
Adriana Martín
“When I was introduced to the project I liked it, I was extremely excited. In Spain, I’ve achieved many things; such as being ‘pichichi’, winning a league or cup, but I’ve never had the opportunity to face a challenge like this. I was happy at my previous club, but I really liked what they presented to me, it’s fantastic”.
Miguel Torres
“I think they’ve got some great players. They have a coach who is eager to achieve something great, and I really hope they gain promotion. Anything that we can do in men’s football to help, that’s what we’ll do. It’s good for the city and for the Club to have this integration, they’ve earned all of our respect. Women’s football has grown a great deal globally, and it brings tremendous satisfaction that my sport isn’t just dedicated to men, but also to women, who perform better than us in many situations”.
