Before starting the morning session, there was a video viewing of around 30 minutes. At 10:00, the squad took to the pitch at the Annexe, alternating initial physical exercises with technical-tactical work for the remainder of the training.
As for individual names, there was just one change: Andrés Céspedes replaced his fellow homegrown goalkeeper Jorge Ruiz, joining Atlético Malagueño alongside centre-back Ángel Recio.
Aside from the group, Ramón and Moussa underwent recovery treatment in the gym. Niño was absent due to his international call-up with Spain U-21. Luismi and Pastor were out due to long-term injuries.
