Following yesterday’s unusual training session, with the majority of the squad in the gym with the exception of the goalkeepers, the Malaguistas returned to the pitch at La Rosaleda this Saturday morning.
The session kicked off with a video for around 20 minutes, followed by training on the main Martiricos pitch. For an hour and a half, Natxo González’s men underwent a warm-up before going on to tactics and ending with strategy work.
Ramón, Hicham, Genaro and Peybernes trained at the same pace as their teammates, completing all tasks within the session.
Juande and Luis Muñoz continued advancing with their recovery processes, outside the group. Víctor Gómez is still with Spain’s U-21s, with whom he played 90 minutes yesterday against Lithuania in the European qualifier of the category.
Goalkeeper Strindholm, Ismael Gutiérrez, Kevin, Roberto, Benítez and ‘Juvenil’ Andrés were the homegrown players in first team training today.
Tomorrow, Sunday an activation session will get underway at 11:00 at La Rosaleda’s facilities, before #MálagaHuesca kicks off at 18:15, corresponding to matchday 33 of LaLiga SmartBank.
