Málaga finished their 11/12 season in the Andaluza League last Sunday, with a victory against Algeciras in Nuevo Mirador, by 3-4. Goal scorers were Iznata (2), Marco and Rafa Serrano.
The Club veterans ended in fourth place in the League, following six wins, two draws and two defeats out of their ten matches. The team earned 20 points, scoring 25 goals and conceding 13. Marbésula de Marbella are the League champions.
For Ernesto, the MCF Veterans' Association coordinator, “it was a long and difficult season, with a lot of injured players. Coupled with indoor football and other matches, has meant we’ve not been as competitive. However more people of different ages are joining the team, which is a very positive step”.
