We’re here to do our bit and work hard every day

Einar and Sangalli have been officially presented as Málaga CF players. They both held a press conference in the Juan Cortés press room at La Rosaleda, accompanied by sporting director Loren Juarros. “The reception has been great, this is a very good group and those of us who have just arrived want to do our bit,” they stated.

Before the usual round of questions, Loren Juarros wanted to welcome the new players to Málaga and wish them luck in this new stage of their careers. In addition, he thanked them for their willingness to reach an agreement and congratulated them on coming to a great club and a great city.

Einar and Luca started out by talking about the welcome from the team. “The reception has been great from our teammates and the staff at the club. They have made us feel like we are in our second home,” commented Einar. “This is a very good group and those of us who have just arrived want to do our bit,” added Luca.

They explained that Málaga is “a very difficult to team to say no to,” although they are aware that “it’s a difficult challenge” and they affirmed that they are preparing to face it. “The coach is placing a lot of emphasis on intensity, on everything we represent when we carry this shield, the responsibility we have and all the people behind us,” Galilea said.

“Now that the first matches are starting, we’re going to start working a little on tactics. How we want to play, how we want to get the ball out, how we want to pile the pressure on…”, added Sangalli.

Regarding his role in the dressing room, despite his experience, Einar stated that “there are people who have spent many years learning about this shield and its values” and who come here “to contribute. We’ve come to a new ship, and we still have a lot to learn,” the defender continued.

Lastly, both players highlighted the importance of day-to-day life, setting the highest demand in each training session and in each match as their personal goal.

The presentation ended with a photographic session at La Rosaleda wearing the Blue and White jersey, where the players posed with their shirts. Einar will wear number 4, while Luca will wear number 23.

Welcome to Málaga, lads!
