Uruguay’s coaching team will confirm the definitive list before 17th March, the day the squad will head to Asia. On 23rd March, in Nanning, Uruguay will face the Czech Republic. The winner of this match will face the winner of Wales – China in the final, on 26th March. The losing team will play a third-place decider on the same day as the final of the China Cup.
The tournament will serve as preparation for Uruguay ahead of the World Cup, taking place in June and July in Russia.
