Fourteen players headed to La Rosaleda today, 4th July to carry out the typical medical and physical tests prior to the summer preparations.
Activity kicked off this Tuesday morning at La Rosaleda. The first group of 14 players was made up of goalkeeper Carlos López; defenders Bilal, Murillo, Andrés Caro, Moussa and Víctor Olmo; midfielders Izan Merino, Rafa, Dani Lorenzo, Larrubia, Jesús Martín, Álex Calvo and Kevin; and striker Loren.
The day got off to an early start, at 08:00, with the players donning this season's training kit for the first time. The Blue and Whites underwent the pertinent tests at Centro Médico Vithas Rosaleda. Subsequently, at the Martiricos stadium’s gym, the group divided in two to undergo different routine physical fitness calibration tests.
This afternoon, the players will continue with their first day back with the stress tests that will take place at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
The work on the pitch for this first group of 14 players is scheduled for Thursday morning at the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol ground.
The official start of the preseason for the whole team will be next Monday 10th July, also in the morning, at the Federación Malagueña ground.
