The new Málaga CF takes shape

The team starts the new season with five confirmed signings and another four players who return from being on loan. In addition, there is a large number of homegrown players on the payroll.

Málaga Club de Fútbol has signed striker Dioni, midfielder Juanpe, goalkeeper Alfonso Herrero, right-back Jokin Gabilondo and central defender Einar Galilea to the first team.

In regard to last season, midfielders Dani Lorenzo and David Larrubia, winger Kevin and striker Roberto return after playing on loan to other clubs.

In 22/23 a large number of players who trained at the MCF Academy participated - in official matches - with Málaga CF. With a current contract are Álex Calvo, Víctor Olmo, Loren Zúñiga, Andrés Caro, Moussa, Haitam, Murillo, Bilal, Cristian and Rafa, as well as goalkeeper Carlos López, who, although he did not make his debut with MCF, had the role of third goalkeeper for the first team.

The seventh month of the year begins, and the Blue and White squad is taking shape full of young players with homegrown talent. On Monday 10th July the pre-season is due to get underway with the aim of reaching the last weekend of August on the best possible form, ahead of the new season in Primera Federación Group 2.
