The new Blue and White player passed the usual medical test this Monday at Centro Médico Vithas Rosaleda. Later, accompanied by sporting director Loren Juarros, he signed his new contract at the stadium’s offices.
Luca Sangalli Fuentes (San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa, 1995) is a product of the fruitful San Sebastian academy, in which numerous players have been forged who have made a career in the elite of Spanish football.
At the age of 19, during the 14/15 season, he made his debut in the bronze division with Real Sociedad 'B'. His time at Sanse lasted four seasons, with an important role and great performance, allowing him to reach the first team in the 18/19 season.
Until 2021, Luca played three seasons in the Real Sociedad first team, which saw him play in the First Division and be part of the Copa del Rey winning team in 2020.
In 2021/2022, he captained Real Sociedad 'B' led by Xabi Alonso in LaLiga SmartBank, while last year he had his first experience away from San Sebastián, at FC Cartagena.
