A few minutes after 10:30, following a short video session, the Malaguista squad stepped on to the Annexe pitch this Thursday morning.
There were 26 players in training under Pepe Mel’s orders today for an hour and a half. The same players as Wednesday’s session were in action today, except for Bilal.
The session kicked off with a warm-up, technical-tactical exercises, crosses and shots on goal, to continue making adjustments ahead of Saturday’s match against Real Racing Club.
Central defender, Esteban Burgos was part of the group dynamic for the third consecutive day, along with homegrown players Carlos López, Arriaza, Murillo, Víctor Olmo, Dani Lorenzo, Loren and Haitam.
Injured players Ramalho, Juande and Andrés Caro advanced with their recoveries, stepping on to the pitch alongside trainer, Toni Tapia, whilst Luis Muñoz remained in the gym.
Moussa, who underwent surgery on Wednesday afternoon, will be discharged later today.
The final training session before travelling to Santander will take place tomorrow at 11:30 at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
