Torrox inaugurates ‘Malaguistas to the Core’ this season

Primera Federación matchday 20 featured Torrox in the first ‘Malaguistas to the Core’ of the season.

The first 'Malaguistas to the Core' of the current season at La Rosaleda came from Torrox. 'The best climate in Europe' moved to La Rosaleda for CD Castellón's visit to the Martiricos stadium.

The 50 kilometres that separate this beautiful municipality from the Martiricos stadium didn’t stop the residents making an unmissable atmosphere at La Rosaleda, with 22,947 Malaguistas in the stands.

A section of Tribuna Alta welcomed dozens of young Torroxeños from various schools and sports clubs in the municipality who arrived by bus to cheer on the team.

In addition, a group of 10 lucky people enjoyed the VIP Experience with Sebastián Fernández Reyes 'Basti' from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, welcoming the Malaguista team on their arrival and enjoying the Museum & Tour at La Rosaleda Stadium.

In the run-up to the match and also during half-time, a Torrox promotional spot was shown on the video scoreboards at La Rosaleda, accompanied by a mention highlighting the charms of the Axarquian municipality: its wonderful Mediterranean climate, Ferrara beach, Las Dunas beach and El Cenicero, in addition to its Mediterranean cuisine, in which the usual 'pescaítos' and ‘migas’ stand out.

All this was on display in the promotional stand on the first floor of the Tribuna VIP area, where information brochures on the main tourist attractions were distributed, as well as a selection of merchandise from the municipality.

Torrox was represented by mayor Óscar Medina España, and José Manuel Fernández Nieto, Councillor for Sports, who watched the match in the Palco de Honor along with the other personalities who usually attend La Rosaleda.

The little ones from Torrox were also protagonists in the #MálagaCastellón Escort Kids. The Blue and White players stepped on to the pitch hand in hand with the boys and girls of the municipality.

The well-known Peña Malaguista Conejito de Torrox 'Duda 17' – which is more than 20 years old - was also present. In addition to accompanying the team during away games, they never miss a match at La Rosaleda.

Torrox featured in the first 'Malaguistas to the Core' of the 2023/24 season. A campaign promoted by the great relationship between Málaga CF and the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, the Club's main sponsor, which aims to continue expanding Malaguismo in all corners of the province.

Thank you for being ‘Malaguistas to the Core’ Torrox!
