Javi Jiménez was shown his fifth yellow card during #MálagaEibar, meaning he’ll be out of action in Las Palmas due to an accumulation of cards in different matches. In the case of Alberto Escassi, he was shown a direct red card in the first half, and that direct expulsion will prevent him from playing at the Gran Canaria Stadium.

In the case of Luis Muñoz, who remained on the bench during this match, he was also sent off due to protesting to the referee (article 120 of the federation committee) and has been given a two-match ban.

Ahead of the next match, three Málaga CF players are on a cycle of four yellow cards, on the verge of suspension, namely: Paulino, Jozabed and Ramón.
