The latest signings arrived at the team’s concentration first thing this morning, to begin training under the orders of Sergio Pellicer straight away.
Escassi and Iván Calero joined the group from the outset, completing the hour and a quarter-long session on the pitch at Hotel Alhaurín Golf, which consisted of rounds, football-tennis matches, possession exercises and shots at goal, during which Escassi scored a superb goal. For his part, Dani Barrio trained alongside goalkeeping coach, Dani Lima.
Later today at 7pm, the Malaguista players will head to the José Burgos Quintana in Coín for the second training session of the day.
